Frequently asked questions
Does it change how my CSS behaves?
No. Only comments, whitespace and the last semicolon of each block are removed, and leading zeros are shortened (0.5 → .5). Custom properties (--variables) are left untouched.
Why does it save less than other tools?
Because it is a conservative minifier: it does not merge rules, reorder properties or rewrite values. It is safer and more predictable.
Is my code uploaded to a server?
No. It is processed in your browser.
