Why remove metadata?
PDFs often store the author name, the program used to create them and the dates. Clearing those fields reduces the personal information you share.
Does it change the PDF content?
No. Only the document information fields are modified.
Does it remove all metadata?
It clears the standard information fields. Some PDFs also contain internal XMP metadata, which this tool does not modify.
